CNA per-diem shifts can be useful because they produce hands-on clinical proof: state-approved CNA status, logged facility hours, ADL and vitals work, screenings, and a supervisor reference. That is different from medical scribing, which proves documentation and observation. CNA hours can help you test care work, but they do not replace an LPN or RN license.

Before you bank on it

Keep the record concrete. Save credential status, facilities, dates, hours, care tasks, screenings, and references, and do not blur CNA exposure with the nursing credential itself.
